Woranit Putrakul, also known as Umi, is a young entrepreneur and executive who successfully founded AIM Charters, a leading Thailand-based yacht charter, travel and lifestyle company.
A Thai national and graduate of Prince of Songkhla University, Umi has felt a connection with the ocean since the age of 14-years-old as an exchange student in Hawaii. Her host family took her on several yacht trips which inspired her passion and goal work in the luxury yacht industry. Her commitment to her dream started immediately upon her return to Thailand where she began her education in the hospitality business and worked hard to gain hands-on experience on a variety of yachts. This opportunity to learn the business from the ground up, including F&B, sales, and customer service, gave her a deep understanding and appreciation to the finer details of a successful yachting operation.
With this solid foundation, she uses it as an inspiration to incorporate progressive ideas and innovative concepts based on the guests experience and luxury lifestyles. Together with her like-minded business partner, Natjira Deeprasert, a sharp and successful real estate developer from Northeastern of Thailand. Umi confident of her great connection could establish a lucrative and forward-thinking enterprise.
As Managing Director of AIM Charters, Umi is bringing a fresh sense of passion, vision and innovation to the yacht charter industry. The company now manages a portfolio of 55 yachts in Phuket and has a mission to enhance and modernize the charter sector in Thailand, while also helping to elevate Phuket’s entire tourism economy.

Fern Natjira Deeprasert is the visionary CEO of AIM Charters. Her
journey into the world of luxury yacht charters began with a
profound passion for travel and exceptional service. After
experiencing outstanding service during a visit to Phuket, Fern was
inspired to create a business that mirrored the excellence she
encountered.
During her travels, Fern discovered the potential of Phuket’s yacht
charter industry. Impressed by the high standards of yacht service, she
was motivated to establish her own charter company. Fern’s dedication
led her to acquire a yacht and launch AIM Charters, with a
commitment to providing luxurious and professional charters.
Under Fern’s leadership, AIM Charters has distinguished itself with a
focus on superior service and client satisfaction. The positive
feedback and success of the company have surpassed her
expectations, leading to interest from clients eager to see AIM
Charters expand internationally.
