SIMILAN ISLAND

There’s a reason why the Similan Islands are often called one of Thailand’s most beautiful destinations. The journey to get there might be a bit long, but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. Similan is pure paradise for nature lovers. It’s the kind of place that feels untouched and will make you appreciate the incredible beauty of our planet. Highly recommended for anyone who loves the beach, snorkeling, or just breathtaking scenery.

The Water and The Sand

It's exactly as you see in the pictures crystal clear and a stunning turquoise. The clarity is so impressive that you can see all the way to the bottom, even without a snorkel. This is what makes snorkeling here so incredible. The visibility is fantastic, and you'll encounter a vibrant underwater world filled with colorful fish and beautiful coral reefs. We even spotted a sea turtle during our trip! The beaches are covered in the softest, whitest sand imaginable. It's so fine it feels like powder under your feet. It's the perfect place to just lie down, relax, and soak up the sun.

The Viewpoint

One of the must-do activities is climbing up to the viewpoint at Sail Rock (or "Hin Ruea Bai"). It's a bit of a steep climb, but there are ropes to help you get up. Once you reach the top, the panoramic view of the bay with its stunning turquoise water and the iconic rock formation is truly breathtaking and makes for the perfect photo op.
