On July 16, the Faculty of Tourism Management at NIDA organized the 8th GSTM NIDA Awards National Quiz Competition and the 2nd Tourism Guide Competition for 2024 at the Chaloem Phrakiat 6 Rounds of His Majesty the King Auditorium. The event, attended by 1,500 students from across Thailand, was inaugurated by Mr. Jaturon Phakdeepanit, Director-General of the Tourism Department, and Professor Dr. Thipwan Lomsuwanrat, NIDA President, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Paithoon Monphanthong, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Management.
The quiz competition aimed to develop the skills of youth, students, and professionals in tourism, hospitality, and aviation, while strengthening networks among tourism and service students from various institutions. It also promoted NIDA’s Faculty of Tourism Management and built relationships with educational institutions and relevant agencies to advance the tourism industry.
AIM Charters participated by showcasing their charters and providing information about yachts at the event.
